Why Encapsulate?

​The placenta is an amazing organ created perfectly and specifically for your baby!  It sustains your baby's life in utero, providing them with oxygen and nutrients. It has also been used throughout human history as an herbal medicine to bring balance after childbirth.

 

There are very limited studies around placenta encapsulation and its benefits. I hope this is an area that gains more attention and research. For now, we rely on what others share from their experiences.  Some of the reported benefits of encapsulation in the immediate postpartum are:
